Overview
Up-North Plastics, Inc., leading plastics manufacturer, is currently seeking Shipping Supervisors to join our team on our day shift. Up North Plastics recently completed a new building at our Cottage Grove MN location and is hiring due to company growth. Up North Plastics produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and agricultural film.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to work Overtime as required
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- AS400 knowledge a plus
- Train on a Mon-Fri schedule/ After training work a 12 hour schedule
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the other Supervisors to ensure cohesion between all shifts
- Delegate and Supervise work assignments to ensure all shipments are prepared and ready on time
- Assignment of cycle counting of product via AS400 system and verification of counts
- Responsible for organization and preservation of product
- Training new employees
- Variety of shipping reports
- All other duties as assigned
