What are the responsibilities and job description for the Management Control Auditor position at Polynesian Cultural Center?
Description
Performs specific, specialized review and evaluation activities for all PCC functions and / or operations. Meets with VPs, directors, managers, and others to resolve issues, discuss areas of concern, and coordinate information gathering designed to improve the overall success of the Polynesian Cultural Center. To accomplish this will require excellent analytical, technical, and interpersonal communication skills. Due to the high-level complexity of the job, work assigned will require frequent contact with the PCC Controls Committee, executive officers, and directors. To accomplish the objectives and goals of the Management Control Analyst will also work with upper-level management and operations management. The MCA function is part of the PCC's self-corrective mechanism for internal controls and operational efficiency. MCAs help effect an orderly and efficient operating environment through assessment and strengthening of controls management uses to attain its objectives.
Essential Functions :
- Resolves difficult issues with individuals at all levels, including office personnel, executive management, Board members, etc.
- Develops personal and personnel capability and trust by mentoring, coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, recruiting, training, and inspiring
- Works with all divisions and departments to develop more timely and accurate reporting of financial information
- Participates in operational decisions to assist in the implementation for improved processes and policies.
