Description
We’re hiring an Accounting Supervisor for our Warrington, PA (Bucks County) location. The Accounting Supervisor will report directly to the CFO and perform a variety of accounting duties to support the financial accounting needs of the Ott Scientific Companies with a primary focus on Kyfora Bio and Dionis Goatmilk Skincare. This role will have one to two direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Month-end close:
- Prepare financial statements for Kyfora Bio and Dionis Goatmilk Skincare
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Complete monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Provide thorough analysis
- Manage a team of one to two employees
- Manage accounts receivable and cash collections
- Manage accounts payable and cash disbursements
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Calculate monthly commissions payment
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide accounting support to business leaders and sales representatives
- Perform various accounting projects and duties as assigned
- Identify and implement process efficiencies
Skills & Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Accounting with 5 years accounting experience
- CPA, preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel skills
- Strong general accounting experience, with exposure to financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Skilled in reading, interpreting, and responding to financial data
- Ability to be customer focused to effectively work with internal & external customers
Must live within a commutable distance to Warrington, PA (Bucks County). Must have legal authorization to work in the US and will not require sponsorship.

Certification(s): Specify preferred or required.
Certified Public Account (CPA) Preferred
Computer Skills Required: Specify preferred or required.
Intermediate Excel skills required. Advanced Excel skills preferred. SAP B1 or other ERP package experience preferred. Proficiency with MS Office suite required.
Other qualifications:
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Accounting Experience: Extensive experience in managing accounting operations, including financial reporting, audits, and general ledger accounting.
- Professional Credentials: CPA preferred, with a strong mix of public and private accounting experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Advanced Accounting Skills: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply these in a corporate setting.
- Strategic Financial Management: Strong skills in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Project Management Abilities: Proficient in managing accounting projects, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with multiple departments.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and ERP systems, with the ability to adapt to new accounting software and technologies.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Knowledge of risk management principles and experience ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the impact of financial decisions on overall company performance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and solve complex financial problems effectively.
- Ethical Integrity and Professionalism: High level of ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential financial data.
