What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Demand Planner position at Polyventive, LLC / Trichromatic West, Inc?
Serves as a primary point of contact for the commercial team and operations.
Analyze customer demand / trends and current inventory levels to manage MTS safety stock levels.
Establish and maintain safety stock for finished goods which results in an achievable plan that optimizes productivity, minimizes inventory, and maximizes service levels to the customers.
Manage MTS work orders for a 4-6 week range to maintain safety stock levels.
Manage MTO work orders immediately as sales orders are entered.
Maintain replenishment signals in X3 for manufactured items to assure smooth flow of orders.
Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all supporting functions and departments.
Monitor escalated / priority shipments to ensure scheduled production.
Work closely with demand planners in operations to revise WO’s as needed and effectively communicate changes.
Participate in daily SIOP meetings with the Commercial Team weekly to develop a supply and demand plan for finished goods to help the organization balance supply and demand and reduce out of stock products.
Participate in daily production meetings with demand planners and operations.
Consider the SMOG work-off identified by operations and the SMOG Inventory Team when planning WO’s.
Assist with annual physical inventory and cycle counting activities.
The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail skills.
Mechanical and analytical ability is a must.
Extended knowledge of MRP and ERP experience. MRP implementation is a plus.
Experience with inventory, forecasting, developing master production plans, capacity requirements planning.
May travel 20% of the time between plants in Rome, Calhoun, and Dalton.
Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
Work is typically performed in an inside, temperature-controlled environment. Works and travels throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity, and wears personal protective equipment, as required. Various operations in the plant generate noise, dust, vapor and fumes in the normal course of production.
