Summary
The Order Entry Associate will be responsible for handling incoming customer orders in a high-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will be independent, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with daily deadlines.
Position Duties
- Review orders for accuracy and determine accurate shipment dates according to system and customer requirements
- Enter customer orders into ERP system within daily deadlines
- Create packing slips for orders
- Review other team member(s) orders for accuracy
- Adhere to daily order entry schedule, ensuring efficient and prompt delivery to customers
- Enter international orders as needed & cross-train on logistics and requirements for international orders in order to serve as a backup
- Serve as a backup for other accounting functions as needed
Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a similar role and/or an Associate’s Degree in a related field
- ERP system and document imaging experience preferred, but not required
- Made2Manage and Docuware a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new tasks or cover other duties when and as needed
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
