Position Summary
Polywater is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to grow sales in the telecommunications market. This is an outside sales role responsible for managing the relationship with our independent manufacturer representatives, making joint sales calls to telephone and internet service providers, communications contractors, engineers, and the distributors who service them. This position requires approximately 40% overnight travel. Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
The Regional Sales Manager will be based in our Stillwater, MN office when not traveling. We have a casual dress code while in the office and business casual with customers. Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions, and profit sharing. Benefits include paid holidays, paid days off, matching 401k, dental-medical HSA plan and ESOP. All travel expenses are reimbursed.
A 4-year college degree with 3 years of B2B sales experience is preferred. Must be self-motivated and have a strong desire to grow sales. A team player with great writing and presentation skills would be a good fit for this position. Position Duties
· Grow end-user base while increasing sales revenue in assigned territory.
· Build and maintain a network of sources to generate new sales leads.
· Communicate with customers to identify and understand product/service needs; identify, present, and demonstrate solutions to meet those needs.
· Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
· Maintain reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship issues.
· Set-up, staff, and pack-up product display at various industry events.
· Provide periodic sales forecasts.
· Performs additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of combined education and experience.
· 3 years of outside B2B sales experience, telecommunications industry is a plus.
· Experience in technical sales techniques.
· Language skills: English proficiency required.
· Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and experience with CRM software.
· Proven self-starter with entrepreneurial mind-set that can work independently.
· Ability to provide industry knowledge and technical skills to assigned network of customers, end users and distributors.
· Superior communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
· Ability to partner with and influence others.
· Flexibility for overnight travel 40% of the time.
· Ability to thrive working in a small, innovative team environment.
Physical Requirements
· Work activity is moderately strenuous with moderate risk.
· Lift and move materials up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
· Manual dexterity to demonstration product use in the field to end users.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
