Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed occupational therapy programs in the hospital and outpatient clinic to restore function and prevent disability following physical or mental disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patient reach his / her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his / her capabilities.
Essential Functions
Education
Completion of Accredited Program in Occupational Therapy - Required
Experience
1-3 Healthcare / Medical - Occupational Therapy - Preferred
Certification & Licensures
State of Ohio Occupational Therapy Licensure - Required
BCLS certification -Required (May be obtained during orientation period)
NBCOT - preferred
