Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to meet compliance, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Partner with the Data Platform Architect to ensure effective data access, sharing, and management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and best practices.
- Provide guidance on data preparation, exploration, and visualization processes within the platform.
- Monitor and enforce data governance policies, including financial governance, PII data management, and secure data sharing.
- Leverage Databricks for data processing, analytics, and governance activities.
- Conduct client-facing discussions to understand governance needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Assess data quality and compliance, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Create and maintain documentation for governance initiatives and ensure its accessibility.
- Train and mentor team members on governance principles, tools, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and clear communication to clients regarding technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Databricks.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proficiency with data management and analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
