Job Description

As an Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, and providing customized insurance solutions. You will work with individuals and businesses to assess their needs and offer products that provide the best coverage and protection.

Are you an experienced insurance sales veteran looking for a change of scenery? Your base salary will start at $30,000 and our top earners made $30,000 in commission last year.

Responsibilities

Ask for Referrals.

Prospect and generate new leads through networking, referrals, warm calling, and marketing strategies.

Assess clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage recommendations.

Present and explain policy options to potential clients.

Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups (phone calls, texts, emails, etc.)

Meet or exceed sales targets and company goals.

Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and policy changes.

Work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other professionals to ensure quality service (upload documents and send DocuSign) .

Adapt to other job responsibilities as the business evolves.

Requirements

Previous experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one).

Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset.

Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is a plus.

Obtain licenses and education as the business evolves.

Valid (2-20) Property and Casualty License AND

Valid (02-15) Life Health and Variable Contracts License

IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A Valid (02-14) Life and Variable Contracts License, YOU WILL NEED TO OBTAIN A (2-40) Health Agent License

LICENSE NAMES AND NUMBERS VARY BY STATE)

Some sales and relationship building experience
