About the PositionWe are searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team. This position can be based in any of the following Pond offices: Atlanta, GA; Augusta, GA; Savannah, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Tampa, FL; Port Orange, FL; Columbia, SC; Charlotte, NC; Huntsville, AL; Mobile, AL; New Orleans, LA, or as a remote employee. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in MEP design engineering and a passion for growth, collaboration, and innovation. In this role, you will take the lead in the design and analysis of electrical systems, mentoring junior and mid-level MEP engineering professionals while supporting proposal efforts. Your projects will span multiple markets and geographies, offering the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and deepen your skill set related to building systems design. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can efficiently navigate through various design stages, from concept planning to construction documentation.
Experience and Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
10 years of relevant MEP experience
Proficiency with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM
Experience mentoring and training employees
Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts, and interfacing with clients
PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred, with plans to obtain PE license in the near future
Ability to work well within a team, multi-task, maintain a positive attitude, and self-motivate to produce high-quality work
Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
Salary : $117,400 - $153,400
