What are the responsibilities and job description for the New England Pond Hockey Classic Rink Monitor position at Pond Hockey Classic?
Each year, the Pond Hockey Classic looks for rink monitors for the event. These individuals are responsible for keeping score and lightly enforcing specific rules. We need over 30 rink monitors to make this event successful.
Our event runs on Friday, January 31st (7:30AM-5PM), Saturday, February 1st (7:30AM-5:00PM) and Sunday, February 2nd (8:30AM-3PM).
As a rink monitor, you will be asked to work the full day. In order to work on Sunday, we require that you work on previous days. We host the playoffs / championship on Sunday and it becomes pretty competitive.
We compensate $150.00 a day for Friday / Saturday and $75.00 for Sunday. This is a contractor role.
You will be outside all day in the natural elements (snow, lake winds, standing on ice, etc.).
