Small, locally owned business in Westfield, MA looking for a TEMPORARY Office Assistant. Position could lead to Temp to hire.
This part-time position, Monday thru Friday, 7am- 2pm.
We are looking for an individual that has experience working in an office setting, preferably answering phones, filing, some knowledge of bookkeeping experience, and proficient computer skills. Someone who isn't afraid to learn.
The selected candidate will preferably:
- Be willing to answer the phone and greet and interact with customers
- Be willing to perform light office cleaning, including vacuuming and dusting
- Willing to file invoices, bills, etc. on a daily basis.
- Have some basic knowledge of the QuickBooks application (or be willing to learn)
- Possess strong basic math skills
- Have an understanding of Microsoft Word/ Excel (no formula needed)
- Have some experience with Google, (chrome, docs, sheets and email)
- Feel comfortable and confident on a computer all around
- Communicate effectively with all members of the office, production and sales teams
The above description covers the most significant duties performed, but does not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned. You will wear many hats!
