An award-winning consulting engineering firm located in Elmwood Park, New Jersey is seeking a mid-level candidate with 3 or more years of experience who is willing to join our growing environmental / hazmat team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES :
- Asbestos and other hazardous substances investigations and sampling of suspect materials, investigation report writing
- Assist Project Manager with management of asbestos abatement oversight projects / QC visits
- Assist in development and / or review of abatement and remediation plans and specifications. Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings
- Ability to work effectively under a deadline
- Ability to work both in the office and in the field
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment if working in hazardous conditions
