Assistant Manager – Pony Express Car Wash
Location: On-site | Schedule: 4-day work week (48 hours) | Salary: $50,000 commission

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and help lead day-to-day operations of the car wash facility
- Assist in setting and tracking weekly team goals; ensure team accountability and follow-through
- Help recruit, onboard, and train employees in line with company standards
- Promote a positive and productive team culture by leading with integrity and strong communication
- Handle conflict resolution and provide support to team members when challenges arise
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly
- Learn and apply chemical and product knowledge to maintain top-tier wash quality
- Ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed consistently
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role (car wash/retail/service industry preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and lead by example
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Driven, self-motivated, and committed to excellence
- Comfortable performing light maintenance and learning technical tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of experience in a customer service or operations role
- Previous team leadership or assistant management experience is a plus
