Pool and Spa Service Technician (Full-Time Seasonal)

Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal (March to October)
Pay: $13.00-$16.00 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (8 hour shift)
Location: In person
Environment: Outdoors (in various weather conditions including heat, rain, cold)

Overview
Pool and Spa Express is a family-owned business that prides itself on its passion and expertise in pool services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Pool and Spa Service Technician to join our team in Tullahoma, TN. This role is essential for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our clients' pools, providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of quality.

Experience with pool and spa maintenance and service is preferred but not required. We will train motivated individuals willing to learn the trade. Entry level candidates will start as an apprentice working side by side with an experienced technician. More qualified or trained candidates will be eligible to use a company vehicle with an assigned route.

Potential growth for employees who show a vested interest continuing to learn other areas of the trade (i.e., equipment installations and repairs, leak detections and repairs, liner installations, etc.).

Eligible candidates must:

• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Have dependable transportation to and from work.
• Be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
• Have the ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Possess the ability to communicate appropriately with clients while performing service.
• Pay attention to detail and focus on providing exceptional service.
• Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Be reliable, dependable, honest and capable.
• Take pride in performing quality work and show willingness to learn and improve, where needed.

Duties:

• Conduct quality pool and spa service for 10-20 clients per day.
• Perform routine service tasks, including cleaning (emptying baskets, brushing and vacuuming), testing and balancing water as well as adding chemicals.
• Complete openings and closings, including removing and installing winter covers.
• Operate the pool service App required to perform duties; use route mapping while driving, log arrival & departure times, take photos and accurately log work performed and any chemicals and parts used for billing purposes.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including maintenance schedules and chemical readings.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Communicate professionally with clients.
• Maintain and contribute to the good reputation of the company.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in various environments.
• Keep work vehicle stocked with necessary supplies and equipment for efficient service delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe service vehicle as well as a clean driving record.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
