Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, testing pool water chemistry, and making recommendations. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work well with others.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist customers with water chemistry issues using our computer test station.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Answer phones and help customers to best of ability and transfer calls to the proper department if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the office and store.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to sell products effectively while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience operating a cash register.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively.
- A proactive attitude toward learning about new products and services offered by the store.
- Basic computer operation skills

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
