What we're looking for
Pool is looking for a passionate, curious-minded, full-stack developer eager to be at the forefront of innovation in Real Estate investing. As our Founding Engineer, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape a dynamic marketplace and social platform that enables people to move from curiosity to confidence in Real Estate investments. We want someone energetic about building from the ground up and crafting experiences that impact people's financial futures.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing new features or designs for our web app with the React Framework.
- Code the necessary infrastructure that supports community and social functions
- Build out back-end database operations using AWS, Firebase, or Supabase
- Write code documentation, issue tracking, and progress statuses with Jira & GitHub.
- Manage code VCS via GitHub
- Resolve support requests on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide input on features and product roadmaps
- Present your progress at regular check-ins
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience developing in React or Next JS
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and hosting services like Vercel
- Experience with Firebase, Supabase, or AWS
- Experience with Python
- Attention to detail with the ability to recreate designs with front-end React or Next JS
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and self-sufficient
- Proven record of shipping features on time
