Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Wrestling Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wrestling, a commitment to athlete development, and the ability to inspire and motivate wrestlers at all skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive wrestling training plans.
- Teach fundamentals through advanced wrestling techniques.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to athletes to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive training environment.
- Plan and oversee practices, conditioning sessions, and competitions.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other coaches to support athlete development.
- Maintain and enforce proper sportsmanship and discipline during practices and competitions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a wrestling coach or competitive wrestler.
- Strong knowledge of wrestling techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Coaching certifications (USA Wrestling or equivalent preferred).
- Availability for practices, meets, and travel as required.
