Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our team. As the key liaison between our office and technicians in the field, the Dispatcher ensures smooth communication, efficient job assignments, and timely updates to customers. This position is vital for maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assign and schedule jobs for technicians based on availability, location, and skill set.
- Monitor technicians' progress and locations throughout the day to ensure schedules are followed.
- Take incoming calls from technicians to update, modify, or reassign jobs as needed.
- Confirm job completions and update records accurately.
- Communicate job changes or updates to customers promptly and professionally.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or unforeseen delays efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of job statuses, technician activities, and customer communications.
- Collaborate with the office team to optimize workflows and improve scheduling processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic changes.
- Familiarity with scheduling software and basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in a coordination or dispatching role is a plus.
