PoolSupplies.com is a leading national pool supply company offering all items needed to own and operate a swimming pool. Our goal is to offer all consumers products and brands that they not only trust, but depend on for pool sanitization, safety and fun. The primary method of sales is through e-commerce channels with shipments directly to the end user.
Position Summary:
The Social Media Specialist will enhance our company’s consumer engagement through the execution of content and digital experience strategies across our portfolio of brands and websites. This position will have oversight of all digital customer interactions which include our currently established platforms as well as the participation in new emerging platforms. This in office position requires collaboration with all members of our eCommerce and Customer Service teams.
Responsibilities include:
- TrustSpot Website review response. Will respond to all positive customer reviews daily. Will respond to all user comments and inquiries.
- Assign insight tags to reviews to categorization and analysis including summary of trends from reviews.
- Develop a monthly posting schedule in sync with company's email campaigns.
- Create and post weekly content by collaborating with product and SEO specialists as well as incorporating AI.
- Create and post daily content with increased frequency during peak business season.
- Spearhead social media executions and channel launches to put our brand in the forefront for our consumers.
- Creation of reels using iStock image or video clips.
- Oversee content development for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly social calendars across Instagram, Facebook, X( Twitter), Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok. Serve as a lead trend spotter on a daily basis and determine what real-time content opportunities our brands should play into.
- Augment our current video assortment in conjunction with experiences product specialists.
- Help us prove and improve! Partner with our team to use platforms, social listening and reporting tools to help us analyze what worked and what didn’t. Analyze data to inform future platform, post type and audience recommendations..
- Self-train on new and evolving social platforms, content and digital best practices and trends. Communicate trends to teams as appropriate. Always answer the questions – what’s next and so what?
Qualifications:
- Two plus years of corporate oversite
- Experience creating content and managing an online content calendar
- Skilled in using Adobe graphic design software ( Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). Familiarity with Canva.
- Can write for X(Twitter) and create for TikTok (and other channels)
- Blogging
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Exceptional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- High levels of energy, creativity and enthusiasm
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability over results
- Photography and videography and skills a plus
- Identify, explore, and establish new platform opportunities.
- Experience planning and executing campaigns across online channels
- Experience finding online trends and turning them into branded opportunities
- Expertise in Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Marketing a must
- Experience managing communities online, preferably multiple brands at once
- Experience measuring and evaluating content across channels
- Experience working within a dynamic cross-functional team environment, navigating objectives to drive priority and deliver breakthrough results
- Photography and video skills are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
