What you bring to the team:
- Develop and implement creative and seasonal menus that showcase the best ingredients
- Supervise, train, and continuously develop the kitchen team including Sous Chefs, Grill Cooks, and food preparation workers to ensure they adhere to quality and safety standards
- Monitor food production and presentation to provide optimal quality and timely service
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control, to minimize waste and maintain cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth among kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the Banquet services team to create memorable events
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership role in a high-volume and upscale dining establishment
- Solid understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and menu planning
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food service
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively train and motivate a diverse culinary team
