Job Summary:
The Process Technician is responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and improving manufacturing and engineering processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role plays a critical part in developing, validating, and documenting production processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing workflows. The Process Technician will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support production and maintenance activities, aiming to reduce defects, minimize downtime, and enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Document Production Processes: Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including process flowcharts, process sheets, equipment setup instructions, tooling specifications, and operator instructions to ensure consistency and clarity in production operations.
- Product Acceptance and Verification: Establish and maintain product acceptance criteria and verification requirements, including measuring, inspections, and testing protocols to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
- Preventative Maintenance Support: Assist in the preventative maintenance of production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize unexpected downtime.
- Process Improvement and Fabrication Support: Develop and support fabrication processes, continuously seeking opportunities to optimize existing processes, enhance efficiency, and improve workflow.
- Process Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor all manufacturing processes to proactively identify and resolve issues as efficiently as possible, striving to reduce downtime and maintain smooth production operations.
