What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Dockhand position at Port 32 Cape Coral?
Dockhands are responsible for maintaining members boats upon launch and return. These tasks will include a basic courtesy wash and wipe down upon entering water, and an engine flush and soapy wash upon return. Duties also include assisting members and guests while docking, securing, loading and unloading vessels, while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and friendly working environment
- Greet all customers in a timely and Courteous matter
- Wash and flush members boats upon departures and arrivals
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and or minor repairs to docks and marina facilities
- Assist customer during fueling processes
- Cooperate with all team members
- Assist members with various requests
- Launch and retrieve boat rentals
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Understand and interpret instructions and company policies
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Ability to operate watercraft a plus - Will train right candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
