Position Overview:
As the Human Resources Manager specializing in Payroll and Benefits, you will play a key role in overseeing payroll for 100 employees across multiple locations. Your expertise will drive the management of benefits programs, 401(k) administration, and ensure compliance with both state and federal regulations. Hands-on experience with BambooHR and a proven track record of optimizing payroll operations are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Lead the timely and accurate payroll processing for over 100 employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k) plans, and other perks, ensuring effectiveness and compliance.
- Compliance & Regulations: Stay up-to-date on state and federal labor laws to ensure company compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Payroll Support: Serve as the go-to expert for payroll inquiries, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with department heads to maintain accurate employee records.
- System Management: Leverage BambooHR to manage payroll, employee records, and benefits administration efficiently.
- Collaboration: Partner with finance and accounting teams to ensure seamless financial reporting on payroll and benefits.
- Audits & Accuracy: Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll and benefits data is accurate and fully compliant with both internal policies and external regulations.
- Policy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of HR policies related to payroll and benefits.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep informed of industry best practices and suggest improvements to enhance payroll and benefits management efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in HR management with a focus on payroll and benefits administration.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, benefits management, and 401(k) plan administration.
- Strong understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with BambooHR and other HR software systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
