Masi Shop- C-Store Lead Attendant
General Position Summary:
Responsible for the supervision of all Clerks at assigned retail store. Performs all tasks related to point of sales.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Opens and closes retail store according to procedures and policies
- Provides spectacular customer service
- Dresses and restocks all shelves and refrigerators, coolers, etc.
- Completes cash register transactions, according to procedures
- Provides basic housekeeping, as needed
- Completes accurate bank deposits
- Provides information on products and services
- Responsible for some decision making concerning products and services
- Assists in training clerks in all policies and procedures
- Organizes and submits cigarette coupons for manufacturer rebate
- Prepares deli service according to health standards
- Prepares menu items ahead of time when feasible
- Keeps deli area clean and sanitary according to health standards
- Keeps management appraised of inventory and supply levels
- Locates stock and delivers items to respectively retail unit as necessary
- Ability to pump propane (specific to the store location)
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises all clerks to ensure customer service and housekeeping standards are maintained. Makes recommendations, to management, overtime, job performance within retail location.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED required. Two to three (2-3) year cash handling or retail sales experience or a combination of cash handling and supervisory experience. Must be 21 years of age with a valid drivers license.
Job Conditions:
Working conditions include working in retail store setting during busy and slow times of the day and night in a non- smoking environment. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions or working alone. Requires being available to work evenings and some weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time. Manual dexterity for use of cash registers and computers. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
