General Position Summary
Performs maintenance duties as directed to include cleaning, minor repairs and other general maintenance duties. Maintains cleanliness of all Food & Beverage spaces. Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food service wares. Maintains sanitary conditions of all Food and Beverage areas.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience:
Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED preferred. 16 years of age is permitted and is required to adhere to all PME educational guidelines
Job Conditions
Working conditions include working outside, and in inclement weather condition, for long periods of time. Climbing (use of ladders both inside and outside), lifting, bending, stooping and crawling into difficult workspaces. Other conditions include working alone, frequent interruptions, evenings and/or weekends. Must be able to tolerate loud equipment noise while following safety measures and wearing applicable personal protective equipment. Working conditions include working with and around dish machine washer, kitchen equipment sometimes under crowded conditions, frequent interruptions.
Physical Requirements
Manual and finger dexterity for the operation of hand and power tools. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to lift 75 lb. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and lift 25lbs. over one’s head.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
- Keeps casino facilities clean, and well maintained as directed
- Completes duties while providing Spectacular Customer Service at all times
- Performs general maintenance and general repairs as directed by department management
- Operates heavy equipment while performing duties to include, but not limited to pressure washing machine, floor sweeper, scrubber, vacuum cleaner, etc.
- Serves as first responder during bio-hazard situations
- Completes all mandatory training annually (i.e., OSHA, etc.)
- Makes water deliveries to casino departments
- Performs duties in a safe manner consistent with training
- Washes and puts away all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Follows all written and verbal instructions concerning department equipment use, and maintenance of that equipment
- Maintains cleanliness of all Food and Beverages Department spaces at the resort and casino (i.e., dish room, kitchen, main casino kitchen, employee buffet tables and equipment, refrigerator/freezer food storage areas, and walkways between F&B spaces
- Assists in transporting food and cooking equipment to the casino and hotel
- Generally, keeps kitchen area clean to include walls, doors and keeps stainless areas polishes.
- Dumps trash cans located in the kitchen, as requested by kitchen management personnel
- Removes solid linen and uniform bags to the linen suppler cart
- May perform cleaning and light maintenance of various Port Madison Enterprises divisions
- Performs other duties as assigned during shift.
- Practices Clearly Superior Customer Service at all times
- Performs other duties deemed necessary to include limited Prep Cook and Breakroom Attendant duties on emergency basis
- Ability to use hand and power tools, safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of the use, selection and disposal of cleaning solutions, paints and other potentially toxic materials
- Able to perform general maintenance tasks in an efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Performs functions and responsibilities quickly and efficiently
- Willing to learn how to operate and maintain an automatic dishwasher
- Willing to learn sanitation policies
- Must possess a Washington State food handlers or an Indian Health card
- Able to take direction and work as a team member
- Must be dependable and able to work without direct supervision
- Able to read, write and speak English
