Port St. John Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team!
Our Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) have a strong focus on surgery and dentistry, requiring advanced dentistry experience as well as expertise in surgical induction and monitoring. In addition to hands-on patient care, you’ll also have opportunities to train and mentor fellow team members.
You’ll work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensure top-tier patient care, and maintain an efficient workflow—keeping exams and treatments running smoothly. This is a full-time opportunity, Mon-Fri (half-day Saturdays), 4 10s.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay: $21-$23/hour (based on experience)

Required qualifications and skillset:
- Current Veterinary Technician Certification in the State of Florida
- 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical assistance including induction, monitoring, and post-op recovery
- Dental prophylaxis, single-root extractions and radiographs
- Blood draws and IVC placement
- Microscopic evaluation
- Outpatient procedures
