Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Transportation Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for researching, organizing and scheduling of individual resident requests on the Village App and Outlook Calendars, as well as ensuring vehicles are available for group outings. The Transportation Coordinator will also be responsible for the maintenance of vehicles across the organization, and coverage of any transportation requests that are open and the community shuttle experience.
Position is Part-Time and may required evenings and weekends. Position pays $18.50/hr
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:
- Schedules and tracks routine, emergency and preventative maintenance for company vehicles including cars and buses.
- Works as the main point of contact for community shuttle.
- Responsible for returning phone calls and emails and scheduling and confirming resident valet requests.
- Obtains appropriate confirmation information such as resident cell numbers, flight information, addresses for pick up and drop off, etc.
- Fills in for any coach run or special outing that is not covered by another driver.
- Attends daily huddle board meetings on scheduled work days.
- The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to various scheduled transportation and activities and to other events outside of the normal transportation schedule.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum two years experience in similar role or with relevant experience
- NC Drivers License with satisfactory driving record required
- North Carolina CDL-P preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to navigate Microsoft Outlook required
