As a Tour Guide at Portland Discovery Land & Sea Tours, you will be an ambassador for our city, leading engaging tours that educate and entertain our guests. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a love for the local area.
Responsibilities
- Lead informative and engaging tours of Greater Portland and Casco Bay by trolley.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
- Educate visitors about the history, culture, and attractions of the area.
- Utilize public speaking skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to tour schedules while allowing for guest interaction.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages questions and engagement from participants.
- Assist in promoting additional services or products offered by the company.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others enjoy their experience.
- Excellent public speaking abilities to engage and inform tour participants.
- Ability to educate guests about local history and attractions effectively.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
