Responsibilities
- You will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers, driving sales, and upholding the integrity of our brand
- You will oversee visual merchandising efforts, ensure store maintenance and cleanliness, and handle customer complaints and inquiries
- Leading and managing a team of sales associates, including setting goals, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
- Hiring, training, and retaining a team of sales associates
- Overseeing inventory management, ordering new products, and ensuring that the store is fully stocked at all times
- Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Providing excellent customer service and handling customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Implementing loss prevention strategies
- Maintaining a clean and organized store, including conducting regular inventory counts and implementing store layout changes as needed
- Overseeing store displays and visual merchandising
- Working closely with the mall/building management team to ensure that Portland Gear's store aligns with any policies and procedures
- Conducting team training and bonding when fit
