Senior Regulatory Consultant
Job Function Summary:
Provides advocacy at the Public Utility Commission on complex topics central to PGE’s clean energy transition. The scope of responsibility for this position will depend on the candidate’s experience, but may include wildfire mitigation, Bonneville Power Administration matters, regional market development and integration, advancement of distributed energy resources and innovative customer offerings, and rapid build-out of renewable and transmission facilities.
The candidate will have responsibility for a range of regulatory matters before the Public Utility Commission, including drafting testimony and data requests, providing written and oral comments, developing strategy, and negotiating for preferred outcomes with other stakeholders. The role also includes extensive internal advocacy and collaboration, often at the executive level. Deep knowledge of current trends in utility regulation is a prerequisite for success in this position.
