Job Summary:
Portland Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Central Supply Clerk who would be responsible to send and receive supply orders, and track the utilization of supplies, in addition to occasionally helping out with maintenance tasks. * This is a fulltime temporary position for an undetermined period of time.
Essential Functions:
- Account for products used in previous 24 hours.
- Print perpetual re-orders report.
- Order products on the re-order form.
- As supplies are received, input packing slips from the incoming shipment and re-stock medical supply rooms.
- Conduct inventory spot-checks.
- Maintain accurate, organized records of the type and amount of supplies received.
- Send invoices to appropriate parties promptly for payment.
- Maintain central supply ordering within monthly budget.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Ability to write clear, accurate supply orders.
- Ability to identify type and amount of each item to be stocked and ordered.
- Ability to maintain supplies in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
- Ability to follow instructions for proper storage of supplies.
Education, Licensure, And Experience:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred!
