About the Maine’s Recovery Friendly Workplace Program: The Maine Recovery Friendly Program (RFW) is modeled after the New Hampshire RFW model, and is designed to promote health, safety and wellness for Maine workplaces and employees. The program empowers businesses to provide support for employees in recovery and those impacted by substance use disorder (SUD). The Maine RFW model will employ a coalition of hubs model with statewide common practice, but local implementation.
Position Summary:
The RFW Statewide Recovery Advisor role reports to the Program Director and provides guidance and support to workplaces engaged in the Maine RFW program. This position is responsible for training the RFW curricula and providing businesses with guidance, training, and support regarding recovery resources. This position will team with the Statewide RFW Business Advisor to provide functional leadership for the RFW hubs across the state. This position requires Maine residency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Partner with the RFW Statewide Business Advisor to develop a framework for statewide rollout, training curricula, and supporting local advisors statewide.
· Work in close collaboration with relevant State of Maine stakeholders, Maine RFW partners, and the statewide business community to ensure alignment with the statewide RFW plan.
· Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders including workplaces, recovery community centers, chambers of commerce, and workforce development partners across the state. These include but are not limited to Maine DOL and Maine workforce development agencies.
· Develop a catalog of curricula that will be available to RFW designees.
· Attend program meetings and training courses as required.
· Collect data and assess progress against program goals.
· Foster and engage in meetings that promote the Maine RFW Program.
· Perform outreach activities to Maine’s recovery community centers, treatment providers and suitable agencies for recovery related referrals to collaborate with the RFW program.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Assist in screening, training, and provide oversight for local RFW Recovery Advisors in Maine.

Professional Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· Minimum of one year of lived experience in recovery
· Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
· Highly networked across the Maine recovery communities
· Strong knowledge of field of recovery and regard for multiple pathways
· Ability to set priorities and respond to pressures, deadlines, and changes in schedules and priorities.
· Strong leadership skills
· Ability to work effectively, independently, and as a member of a team
· Outcomes driven
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community
· Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Skilled in group facilitation

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evenings, weekends. Statewide travel required and must have reliable transportation and active driver’s license.
