Position/Title: Ticket Office Associate
Type: Hourly Part-time seasonal
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working in the ticket office during Portland Sea Dog’s Home Games. These individuals are expected to provide our customers with exceptional customer service. They should be obsessed with the details and be ready to solve any problem. Building relationships and improving the fan experience is the goal. This position will be responsible for selling tickets, fulfilling will-call pickups, and helping fans with all ticketing questions at the time of purchase. Associates will also assist the ticket office staff with phone orders, data collection, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task with little supervision
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Handle high-pressure situations.
- Ability to stand and be active for long periods of time.
- Computer literacy (use of Word and Excel)
- Prior ticket system use is plus, but not required.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create a reliable experience by providing exceptional service for all fans and guests.
- Assist with phone, walk-up, and internet ticket sales
- Understand and communicate the various ticketing technologies to our fans.
- Assist in troubleshooting ticket issues
- Provide information about each event and future promotions
- Be an overall team player willing to help in multiple areas of the operation.
