We are a growing 26-doctor emergency and specialty veterinary practice offering specialized care in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, neurology, emergency & critical care, and cardiology. We’re currently seeking an Emergency Client Coordinator to join our busy emergency department. In this vital role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between our clinical staff, client service representatives, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and seamless patient care. If you have veterinary experience (preferably emergency care), exceptional organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to client communication, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

As an Emergency Client Coordinator, you’ll be an essential part of the emergency department team, supporting our criticalists, emergency clinicians, technicians, and client service staff in a variety of important tasks. Your role will involve:

• Assisting with triage and patient intake, ensuring smooth and efficient communication throughout the emergency process
• Handling client communications, including updates, follow-ups, and providing important information to referring veterinary hospitals
• Discharging patients, ensuring all instructions and care plans are clearly communicated to pet owners
• Providing compassionate, clear, and effective communication with clients, helping them navigate the emotional and logistical challenges that come with emergency care
• Collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure the best possible experience for clients and patients
• Supporting daily operations in the emergency department, including managing appointments, records, and patient flow

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous veterinary experience is required, with a preference for emergency care experience
• Technician knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory—what matters most is your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide excellent client service
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong customer service abilities, with a compassionate and solution-oriented approach
• The ability to collaborate with diverse teams and support the needs of both clients and staff
