About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled PRN Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse RN to join our Imaging Service Line as a navigator. In this role, you will act as a consultant, facilitator, and educator to our patient population, providing exceptional care and guidance throughout their imaging journey.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in navigating the imaging care delivery system through patient education, coordination of care, and advocacy for their needs.
- Maintain open communication with referring providers, discussing best practice guidelines and standard of care.
- Develop and maintain an ongoing database on patients, generating reports related to program metrics.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective patient outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-7 years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Associate Degree required.
