We are currently hiring for an Operations Manager in our Boise location. This position will oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure that business processes are efficient and effective. Key responsibilities include managing resources, optimizing workflows, and supporting organizational goals in an environment of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day to day operational activities; direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, planning, procurement, shipping / receiving, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, resources, and manage the production and delivery of products to customers that meet objectives of the division.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Enforce high levels of product quality and continuous improvement : where customer failures occur, to quickly determine root cause and implement corrective action to avoid reoccurrence.
- Develop and implement Company strategy as it applies to data-driven manufacturing operations management, and plant and facilities to enhance support for Company growth.
- Seek year on year improvements in the turnover of inventory, productivity, and cost.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that the organization understands and conforms to all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality Management System (QMS) protocols.
- Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; lead and coach all employees to achieve year on year improvement in professional and personal skills bases.
