Poseidon Marine is seeking an energetic and proactive Recruiter to drive our talent acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in filling various roles including marine technicians, salesmen, and managers across our Florida locations. This position demands a keen understanding of the marine industry and exceptional skills in talent scouting, with the flexibility to work varied hours and travel within Florida.
Responsibilities
- Partner with department heads to understand the specific needs for marine technicians, sales, and management positions, crafting tailored job descriptions.
- Employ innovative sourcing methods, focusing on marine-specific platforms, job fairs, and professional networks to attract skilled candidates.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Screen and interview candidates, evaluating their fit for roles that require unique skills in marine environments or sales acumen.
- Maintain and update our recruitment database to keep track of candidate pipelines and recruitment metrics.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and industry bodies to tap into the latest talent pools for marine-related roles.
- Develop and refine recruitment strategies based on industry trends, especially those specific to the marine sector.
- Uphold and promote Poseidon Marine's culture and values during the recruitment process.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, ideally within the marine, technical, or sales sectors.
- Strong understanding of marine industry standards and roles, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to forge connections within the marine community.

Pay: $48,303.00 - $57,057.00 per year
