Technology Consultant

Job Overview
As a Technology Consultant, you will play a key role in managing, monitoring, and enhancing the technology infrastructure within our organization. You will ensure the security of our systems, oversee software and hardware integrations, and provide technical support to staff. Additionally, you will research and implement technology solutions to streamline business processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Business Alignment
- Analyze business systems and user needs, documenting requirements and defining system objectives.
- Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business goals.
- Lead technology selection, review, and integration for practice management software.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance operations across departments (Marketing, Finance, HR, and Clinical Services).
- Serve as the Systems Administrator for company software, managing user access and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide technical support and training to clinical and office staff.
- Work with vendors and support teams to resolve software and hardware-related concerns.
- Implement and monitor data security policies, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintain and update malware protection and cybersecurity protocols.
- Collaborate with the Office Administrator to complete security and privacy documentation, ensuring proper encryption of client and financial data.
- Manage Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) to uphold data security compliance.
- Oversee Google Workspace Administration, including account setups, terminations, group management, file security, and password resets.
- Assist HR in managing IT-related onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure seamless functionality.
- Work with the Office Administrator to troubleshoot and implement system fixes.
- Maintain and update the company’s website to ensure optimal functionality and security.
- Manage integrations with e-commerce platforms, payment processing systems, and accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT consulting, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and Cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience in process improvement, business analytics, and developing technical standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot system errors and implement problem-solving strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and training staff.
- Preferred experience in hardware installation, networking, and connectivity solutions.
- Experience in cloud-based systems and software integrations.
- Knowledge of practice management software and HIPAA compliance in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with social media marketing, graphic design, and website development
