Job Summary :
The Collaborative Approach to Syndemic Health in Atlanta (CASHA) is a 3-year demonstration project to facilitate patient linkage to care and capacity building for agency partners with a focus on addressing the HIV epidemic within marginalized communities.
Expedited Linkage to Care / Supervision of Patient Navigators
Train, supervise and provide ongoing guidance to Project Navigators (PN), supporting them in their roles of accompanying clients to care sites and ensuring linkages to care.Ensure that Project Navigators are referring participants for expedited linkage to care, ensuring timely access to services such as HIV treatment, mental health support, and substance use services.Collaborate with community-based organizations (CBOs) to facilitate smooth transitions to care for study participants.Ensure the smooth integration of Project Navigators into the community setting to which each PN is assigned.Conduct regular check-ins with Project Navigators to track client progress and address any barriers or challenges encountered.Data Collection & Coordination
Oversee all aspects of study coordination, including participant recruitment, assessment administration, and data collection.Administer assessment and intake questionnaires to gather essential data on study participants.Ensure adherence to data storage and protection protocols, including proper handling of sensitive participant information.Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Collaborate with the Evaluator and ETAP to track study performance and ensure accurate and timely reporting of implementation outcomes.Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure that all objectives are met on scheduleProtocol Execution
Ensure the proper execution of study protocols, including ethical guidelines for data collection, participant engagement, and confidentiality.Develop and implement systems to ensure that all study documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored securelyStakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with PIHC’s Campaign to End AIDS Director and designated community agencies’ leadership to align project activities with broader program objectives and community needs.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements : Key qualifications :
Strong understanding of HIV care, prevention, and public health research methodologies.Experience with data collection, study coordination, and reporting in public health settings.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Proficiency in data management tools and software.Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing teams and supporting staff development.Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including participants, community partners, and research staff.Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related health sciences field. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, research coordination, or a related fieldA minimum of 1 year of professional experience in HIV care or public health research.Must possess a valid Georgia Driver's License and be willing to work flexible work hours as needed, including some evening and Saturday hours.
