Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling and a love for working with dogs. This Position will start in January 2025, This job is commission-based only. This job pays per dog training client.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dog training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques
- Assess and understand each dog's behavior and needs
- Develop personalized training plans for each dog based on their temperament and training goals
- Teach basic obedience commands and address behavioral issues
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training techniques
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in dog handling, training, or related fields
- Knowledge of animal care and behavior
- Certification in dog training is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $12.01 - $14.38 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
