We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our studio in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Archicad and a strong background in interior and architecture design workflows. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to optimize our BIM processes and enhance project delivery.
Position Overview
As BIM Manager, you will lead the implementation and management of Archicad integration across our various interior design projects. You will work closely with our Technical Director and greater design team to establish and maintain BIM standards while ensuring efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows specifically tailored to our hospitality and residential design processes.
- Manage the studio's Archicad environment, including library content, project templates, and automated workflows
- Provide technical support and training to design teams on Archicad and related BIM tools
- Coordinate with external consultants to ensure seamless BIM collaboration and data exchange
- Monitor project BIM execution plans and ensure compliance with established standards
- Implement quality control processes for BIM deliverables
- Research and recommend new BIM technologies and processes to improve efficiency
