The Sr Manager Of Grocery Supply Chain Coordination Leads a Team That Is Accountable For Managing Supply Plans In The Near Term, Assuring Product Availability At The DC Level To Fulfill Customer Orders. This Team Delivers EBITDA Value Through
- Maintaining service through increased prediction, visibility, and cross-functional leadership
- Proactive management of excess and obsolete inventory
- Proactive inventory peak visibility and management
- Execution of network changes without customer disruption
Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Lead the S&OE weekly process to align cross functionally across the organization to align on business operations and highlight any risk areas for mitigation alignment.
- Lead and champion supply chain coordination strategies, policies, processes and efforts that increase efficiency, profitability, and deliver company goals, objectives and growth.
- Develop relationships with functional departments and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive planning and alignment.
- Contribute to Monthly IBP process and assure short term supply plans are aligned with 18 months demand and supply plans from ECR and ESR, respectively.
- Optimize the plan for cost efficiency while servicing customer orders. Provide overall guidance on identifying and resolution to constraints within the operational plan. Assess, evaluate, escalate and respond to organizational Issue Statements and risk representing Supply Chain Coordination.
- Implement, adopt, and audit the management operating system for supply chain planning. Establish a culture of continuous improvement across the supply chain planning teams to eliminate waste and defects throughout the processes.
- Establish individual and team performance direction. Ensure supply chain coordination team follows appropriate processes and procedures, leading changes or improvements as needed. Removes barriers when needed.
- Develop and maintain metrics that measure and communicate performance (i.e. case fill, inventory metrics including excess and secondary sales, production plan performance, etc.).
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field is required
- Integrated planning systems training like ERP/DRP/MPS/MRP/CRP is required
- Would prefer a minimum of 5 years of combined related experience, with a preference in food processing/packaging, including at least 2 years of manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years of managerial experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain management systems and processes
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Able to build relationships and inspire others
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement through empowerment and management by data
Salary : $96,232 - $150,122
