Position Title: Preschool Site Supervisor/Program Director
Location: San Francisco, CA - Potrero Hill Neighborhood
Salary Range: $72,000 - $75,000/year with yearly increase

Located in the vibrant Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, our Montessori school is dedicated to creating an enriching, nurturing environment that fosters love for learning and the holistic development of each child. We emphasize Montessori methods and values, and are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Site Supervisor/Program Director to lead our school. Reporting directly to the Administrative Director, this role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence, prioritizing safety, and fostering community relations, ensuring that our school stands as a beacon of educational quality and inclusive community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- School Operations and Safety: Oversee day-to-day operations, upholding educational standards and safety. Ensure compliance with all local governing and licensing agencies, and implement stringent health and safety protocols to meet licensing requirements and organizational standards.
- Leadership and Staff Development: Serve as a leadership figure, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment. Oversee faculty/staff performance, providing consultation and serving as a mentor. In partnership with ownership, manage recruitment, training, and professional development.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with parents and the wider community. Ensure effective communication regarding school events, children's progress, and significant matters.
- Regulatory Compliance and Administration: Address any deficiencies promptly and maintain meticulous records of staff and children’s files.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Must have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or higher with 24 units of ECE with 6 units management/administration and two units supervision or CA CTC Site Supervisor Permit
- Keep the school and children's safety as top priority
- Positive working attitude, being respectful and appreciating to the teachers and co-workers
- Can handle work stress well and communicate with team members with respect
- Great management skills, can run the school smoothly on a daily basis with available resources, be able to act as substitute/floater occasionally when the school is under staff
- Strong at parents communications
- Montessori training and previous experience with Montessori pedagogy preferred
- Previous management/leadership experiences required, at least 3 years
- Fluent in English, Mandarin-speaking will be a plus

Physical Requirements:
The position involves a mix of sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 40 pounds). Must be able to move swiftly to ensure student safety.
