The Employee Health and Safety Manager will work collaboratively with Potter's EHS Leader to establish and cultivate a robust safety program in our manufacturing facility. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our entire health and safety framework from the ground up. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing policies, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a safe, compliant work environment that aligns with the latest regulatory standards. Collaborating closely with site teams and senior leadership, you’ll drive proactive EHS strategies, lead training initiatives, oversee incident management, and champion sustainability practices. This role offers a rare chance to influence standards and cultivate a culture of safety and responsibility at every level.
We’re seeking a proactive safety leader with comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and a talent for relationship building and program development. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively lead and educate others. Ability to learn specialized safety software and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
This is a full-time, benefitted, position working Monday through Friday onsite in the manufacturing facility. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the business. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the manufacturing or communications industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in EHS (e.g. CSP, CIH, CHMM)
