The Senior Credit Representative is responsible for credit and collections activities, including billing, cash collections, cash posting, portfolio, management, credit management, and accuracy of collections processes.
This position has a salary range of $75,000-83,000 annually
Job Responsibilities :
- Maintain and prepare daily cash reports and post cash receipts to customer accounts
- Posting lockbox and processing of ACH-wire applications.
- Maintain customer credit hold status for past due accounts
- Send statements, and payment inquires via email, fax and regular mail as needed; Maintain daily customer contact with Customer.
- Maintain and update Customer contact information, including electronic contact to ensure automation of correspondence within SAP H / 4.
- Perform financial and credit analysis regarding new customer applications, past due accounts, high risk customers and other financial impact areas
- Prepare and review financial reconciliations schedules and maintain the allowance for bad debt balance while improving processes and cutting the time to close.
- Reinforcing a customer-centric culture in our organization that builds highly collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Operations and Senior Leadership
- Assist with preparation of monthly collections and aging reports for communication to Sales and Upper-Management.
- Monitoring collections and refund targets and providing appropriate reporting to internal stakeholders
- Prepares monthly reports showing delinquency trends and analyzing collection results.
- Establish quarterly aging, cash and DSO goals and monitor forecast vs. plan.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate credit policy and regulatory requirements.
- Run DNB reports and perform customer analysis
- Issues daily report on the status of delinquent accounts and tracks collection efforts
- Additional duties assigned by Manager as needed.
Minimum Requirements :
High School Diploma / GED required - College Degree Preferred
Five plus years of experience doing Accounts Receivables in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Skills & Knowledge :
Microsoft Teams - Chats, Calls and Meetings
SAP Experience in A / R, Credit and Cash Posting
Strong attention to Detail and Organization
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
