We’re seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee our financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions.
Duties
- As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company. Your responsibilities will include:
Daily Accounting Operations:
- Manage all accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.
- Process payroll, ensuring accuracy in wages, deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
Month-End & Year-End Close:
- Perform month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Oversight & Compliance:
- Maintain internal controls and financial policies to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insights on financial trends.
- Develop and maintain process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, creative work environment.
