Position
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Eric Jay Rosser, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
TWO (2) PRE-K DUAL LANGUAGE TEACHERS
TWO (2) KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS
TWO (2) GRADE 1 TEACHER2
TWO (2) GRADE 2 TEACHERS
(EIGHT [8] TEACHERS TOTAL)

Qualifications
Current participation in Dual Language Program;
Duties
The Poughkeepsie City School District (PCSD) is committed to providing students and parents with pathways to opportunity that will lead to achievement and success. Teachers Involved In This Curriculum Exploration Will
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be conducted where appropriate.
Effective Date
4/14/2025 - 6/20/2025
Work to be completed after school hours
Salary
In accordance with PPSTA contract to be paid from Title III Immigrant funds
Not to exceed 12 hours for Kindergarten teachers; Not to exceed 5 hours for Pre-K, Grade 1 & Grade 2 teachers.

- Dual Language: Review scope & sequence of Pre-K on My Way & Estrellitas to align curriculum across 2 pre-K classrooms.
- Dual Language: Create alignment of Spanish & English language resources for continuation of curriculum across target language zones.
