Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring efficient scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- On-Site Management: Supervise job sites, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead construction teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and laborers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential risks, delays, and challenges, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5 years of experience in residential construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- Familiarity with local building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
