Middle School Softball Coach-Poultney High School

Job Description: Poultney Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Softball Coach to lead our softball program. The coach will be responsible for developing student-athletes' skills, fostering sportsmanship, and creating a positive and competitive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead practices, drills, and game strategies. Teach fundamental softball skills and game rules. Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration. Ensure player safety and adherence to school policies. Coordinate with athletic staff on scheduling, equipment, and logistics. Qualifications: Previous coaching or playing experience in softball (preferred). Knowledge of the game, rules, and strategies. Ability to work with middle school students in a positive and motivating manner. Strong communication and leadership skills. Must pass a background check and meet school district requirements.
